Dear Parents,
Members of the Venture Yearbook are in the process of beginning work on the 2011 book.
The first section to be completed during the school year will include senior portraits.
Recently, Lifetouch Studios/Prestige Portraits took senior portraits in the AUD at the high
school. Unfortunately your child missed their appointment.
On October 7th and 8th, 2010, Lifetouch Photography/Prestige Portraits will be in the high
school to take senior portraits and re-takes. Students may go down to the AUD at any time
they have free to have their picture or a re-take taken. There is no fee for these pictures to
be taken and no purchase is required. The proofs will be mailed for seniors to pick a senior
portrait for the yearbook. The photographer will provide the tuxedo jacket, shirt and tie, or the
drape, for the sitting.
If students wish to select different poses or a change of clothes, they may also call the
Lifetouch studio (located on Aero Drive by the Buffalo Airport) to make an appointment.

Students may have their pictures taken at any studio they wish. For your convenience,
Lifetouch Photography/Prestige Portraits will be on campus to take senior photographs,
and Lifetouch also compiles all of the photos of students who have their pictures taken into
a senior composite and a DVD slide show for the graduation ceremony. If students select
another studio, their photos must have the same specifications (including size, color, pose,
etc., as described below and on our website) to be included in the yearbook, composite,
and DVD. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure these specs are met. If not, pictures
cannot be used in the yearbook, composite, and DVD.
Final proofs must be received at the publisher or picked on-line by the due date below.
Once pictures are taken and you receive the proofs, further directions will be included on
how to choose the portrait that you want on-line or send the choice back to the company.
Please be sure to have the pictures chosen by the due date: November 2, 2010.
